WE ARE
AesthetiCy is a student company that was formed within the framework of the Junior Achievement competition. It consists of a group of Applied Arts'

students from the A' Technical School, Nicosia. The students design and produce products, inspired by the archaeological heritage of ancient Cyprus. These products have been mainly selling through the antiquities department shops across Cyprus.

The Lucky Charm 2017 is inspired by the cruciform figurine discovered at Pomos and exhibited in the Cyprus Museum. The figurine is made of a green stone called picrolite and it dates to the Chalcolithic period (ca. 3000 B.C). It probably represents a woman with her arms spread and it could have functioned as a fertility or a birthing symbol. Smaller such figurines were worn as charms around the neck.

Part of the company’s net profit goes towards the school’s student welfare fund.

The charm is made of sterling silver (silver 925°) and hand finished using synthetic cord and silver plated beads.
